Due to the unfortunate passing of Dr. Dennis Karambelas on October 1st, 2017, we want you to be aware that we are in the process of trying to sell our practice. If you have an upcoming appointment during the month of December or early January, we do not have a doctor available for coverage. You can call our office and we will try our best to reschedule you no earlier than late January / February.
If you need to be seen immediately for an emergency situation, or you have an appointment in December or January, we recommend you contact Dr. Robert Child to be seen at Garden City Eye Care in Cranston at 401-943-8151.
For any immediate concerns regarding the repair of eyeglasses we suggest that you go to your local optical shop.
Our new temporary hours will be from 9 AM – 5 PM, Monday – Friday. Please note that Mason will no longer be in for optical concerns.
We truly hope this is a temporary situation and we will contact our patients by post cards, email, our website and our Facebook page with any news or updates.
Thank you for being such loyal patients!
Marion, Mason and Colin
Dear Patients & Friends of Dr. Dennis Karambelas,
On behalf of Dennis and our children, and our staff, I want to thank all of you who were able to join us on Saturday to Celebrate Dennis’s Life and Legacy.
Saturday turned out to be a beautiful day where hundreds of patients, friends and family came and listened to Fr. Steve Amaral and Stu Moran share humorous and poignant words about Dennis, and lingered for hours to share their own stories, while enjoying refreshments and celebrating our "Dr. K".
We still have a few handouts available should you want one when you come in for an appointment, and Colin will print one on our Facebook and Website for a few weeks for those of you who can't get in but would like to see one.
We will continue our GoFundMe page while we search for a full time optometrist, and we continue to have Dr. John Herman and Dr. Bob Child available for appointments. We thank both doctors for their time and commitment and we thank all of our patients for their continued support and kindness you have shown to all of us.
Thank you from our hearts,
Bernadette, Mason, Kevin, Colin & Becky
Marion, Alex, Devin and of course, Dennis
